JDPA…YOUR JOURNAL, YOUR LIFE.

The Journal of Dermatology for Physician Assistants (JDPA) is the first PA specialty publication dedicated specifically to serving the needs of the dermatology PA community.  The journal is a peer-reviewed publication that delivers innovative clinical, surgical, cosmetic and professional content exclusively for dermatology PAs.

The JDPA serves as a printed forum in which dermatology PAs can share clinical information, practice tips and other relevant professional insights with an already established network of their colleagues.

Submissions made to the JDPA are peer-reviewed by a panel of experienced dermatology PAs, educational PAs and a dermatologist before the article is accepted for publication.  In most cases, the JDPA can provide the board’s decision about your submission within six to eight weeks. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about writing for the JDPA.

The mission of the JDPA is to enhance dermatological patient care by publishing the most innovative, timely, practice-proven educational information available for the physician assistant profession.  Be a part of this rewarding mission, WRITE FOR THE JDPA!

The 5 main sections featured in each issue of the JDPA are listed on the left.  The various topics that you can contribute to are described within each section.
